Please be patient.  Please understand that we are assisting many people at once.  For faster registration, register online. You may be temporarily placed on a hold page before continuing to the registration site. Stay on the hold page until you are transferred to the registration site or you will lose your place in line.

If a camp session has filled, we encourage you to get on our wait list. You can put your name on more than one wait list and there is no charge. We will let you know when a spot becomes available.

Aquatots
Ages 4-5 (pre K)
Children must be potty trained

See, hear, taste, smell and feel:  Our five amazing senses help us discover our incredible planet. Animals also have sense to help them figure out what is happening around them. Some of them use their sense in ways similar to us while others are very different. Join us as we use all five of our senses for a week of exploring animals and their environments through games, crafts, live animal encounters and more!
 
Tadpoles
Ages 5-6
Children must have attended kindergarten

Get ready for a fun summer adventure!  Tadpoles explore the Tennessee Aquarium, the Chattanooga Nature Center and the Creative Discovery Museum.  We meet live animals up close, make lots of fun crafts, see an IMAX movie and enjoy other fun-filled activities.  During our adventures we discover exciting facts about animals.  And every afternoon, Tadpoles cool off playing in the Aquarium Plaza stream.  Come join the fun!
 
AquaArt - New age group!
Ages 5-6

Vincent Van Gogh-Fish! Campers will have the time of their lives studying some of the world’s most amazing creatures up close. Then they’ll explore new media to create some awesome aquatic masterpieces of their own. This camp is based at the Hunter Museum of American Art where kids will find everything from classic oil on canvas to extraordinary modern art. They will also spend lots of face time with the critters at the Tennessee Aquarium which is located within walking distance of the Hunter.  Campers are dropped off and picked up at the Hunter Museum.
 
Polliwogs at the Aquarium
Ages 7-8
$150/Member; $200/Non-member

“Native wonders” is the name of the game this year in Polliwog camp. Discover amazing facts about the plants and animals that may be found in your own back yard. Through great activities, crafts and games Polliwogs will learn about fascinating creatures. The week starts out with exploration of the Aquarium galleries and is rounded out with a day of water play at Coolidge Park and a day in the mud at the Chattanooga Nature Center.
 
Polliwogs in the Woods
Ages 7-8

An animal a day keeps the “I’m bored!” away. Sign up for tons of fun as we learn about the animals that live at the Tennessee Aquarium and the Chattanooga Nature Center. Spend two days exploring the Aquarium’s exhibits and then get ready for adventure as you hike in the beautiful Lookout Valley, canoe on a creek and get down and dirty on Mud Day. Campers are dropped off and picked up at the Chattanooga Nature Center.

Bullfrogs
Ages 9-10

Leap into fun as we discover the amazing world around us. Through games and activities, we will learn about caring and helping our world. Exploring the aquarium buildings, visiting with animals and their caretakers, and behind the scene visits enhance our understanding. Our week will be highlighted with hiking, paddling, spending the night in the River Journey building and a guided spelunking trip through a local cave.

Eco-Explorers
Ages 11-12
*Friday overnight

Sessions
3, 4 + 6, 7
Get ready for a week of competitive games, creative crafts, outdoor sports, daring explorations and exciting field trips. You will get to visit special areas of the Tennessee Aquarium and visit some local parks for outdoor activities such as swimming, water sliding and rafting on a lazy river. The week will conclude with an IMAX movie and an over-night in the Undersea Cavern in Ocean Journey.
